Just to let y’all know, I a bit behind schedule on my pages. What this means is that I won’t have all the lineart done by this Wednesday as intended. However, the set due date of when my senior project is due hasn’t change - we’re going to get all the pages done by May 28. What this means for the colorists is that if y’all don’t get all your assigned pages, those missing pages are not counted toward the May 24 deadline. Just finish what y’all have now and we’re good. Sorry about that. OTL

• Website (most likely on both Comic Fury and Smack Jeeves) will be up and running with the first two pages (cover and page 1).
• Character concepts of the main at least should also be done (but don’t hold your breath), and that will be posted to not only Tumblr but deviantart as well.
• I can’t think of anything else, but I’ll probably remember at another time.

Also, there might be another contest opportunity for the printed booklet. most likely a raffle of sorts. Still thinking about it.

Other than that, the anthology I’m a part of is only $700 short of reaching the $5000 mark! I’ll post up some goodies on the Speakeasy blog possibly later on this week in honor of that. :D

Two new challengers have appear! Rough designs for Catalina and Gloria, Morgan’s classmates/potential best buddies.

Update: Pages 8 (Pan’s) and 10 (Mary’s) are finished with bases, and added to dropbox! Also the reference folder is updated with tons of more places, mainly focusing on SVA campus as page 11-15 are taking place at school. Those should be up by Wednesday the latest; if not, y’all feel free to kick my butt because I need to make this work. Sorry it’s taking so long on my part! ;w;

Again, skype or message if anything comes up! I’ll be checking in with y’all tomorrow, just to see how the coloring’s going. Keep on trucking!

It’s been a while since our last update, but the fiasco of Editor’s Day is over and we’re ready to get the ball rolling! Colorists, are you ready?

On this blog here will the the master post in which everyone’s pages are assigned, as well as the link where all the pages and references will be up, which can be found here.

The pages breakdown are as followed:

• Mika - pages 1, 3, 4, 7, 15
• Mary - pages 2, 6, 9, 10, 14
• Pan - pages 5, 8, 11, 12, 13

The following instructions are simple: same coloring scheme as we did for the test pages, just to keep it a consistent look for now. If y’all have forgotten the format, that could be found here. The pages already have bases on them, so just go ahead and color in the flats (and shading, if y’all so wish). The master color post is up in the dropbox link, and some picture references are provided. You ARE however more than welcome to go out and look for more reference, if you feel the need to. Just some notes and reminders:

• Remember to keep the coloring on SEPARATE LAYERS. That means all figures should be on one layer, the backgrounds on another, sky on another, shading on another, etc.
• The due date for all colored pages will be MAY 25 by 11:59 pm. There will be two check ups via skype, one on May 18 and another on May 22. I know I’m behind on the line art for some pages, and I’ll have those up by this Friday the latest and link you to your appropriate pages.
• If anything should come up, please contact me either through skype or notes on Tumblr on my main. If I can’t be reached, feel free to contact either Kimi or Tardy on skype.
• DO talk to each other, if you so need. I’d like for everyone to be on the same page, plus y’all are in this together.
• Feel free to use textures too, if you feel that would help the image or what you’re trying to achieve.

I think that’s pretty much it. I’ll be on Skype daily, usually around mornings on Monday-Wednesday and afternoons Tuesday-Thursday. Feel free to ask any questions if I missed anything. Otherwise, in the words of the esteemed Neil Gaiman, go forth and make good art, my friends! :D

After some time and consideration, a panel of guest judges and I have decided that it was best to assemble a team of colorists to aid in production process. We’ve chosen the top three who we would like to join in as my colorists. Should you choose to accept this mission, you will be credited for your work on the webcomic and the published chapter, as well as receive a free copy of the chapter for your hard work so that you may show friends and families of your mad coloring skill.

The three finalists are:
